Setup Checklist

Please review and follow each of these steps:

1. **Is your current IP authorized?** Your proxies will not work for you unless the IP address of the computer you are accessing the proxies from is authorized.
You must do this here: [https://www.ezproxies.com/ezcp/](https://www.ezproxies.com/ezcp/)
**This should be your absolute first step if you are experiencing problems.**

2. **Is the software you are using the proxies with up-to-date?** This is a common problem and if your software is not updated it will show that the proxies are not currently working. Most 'bot' software is very poorly written and if it is not updated it will just say the proxies are not working. You will need to contact the software developer in this case.

3. Are you testing your proxies with an online proxy testing service, like http://www.checker.freeproxy.ru/checker/ and this is showing the proxies as not working? The proxies we provide will not work with that site because they are not authorized to be used by that site. We provide private proxies that are only accessable to our clients. So this is normal if a site like that can not access our proxies.

4. Be sure that you using the correct port with the proxies, you can use port 3128 or 58378 with the proxies. If the software you are using is asking for the proxies as IP:PORT this means that you must enter the proxies in this format.
For example:
192.168.1.10:3128
192.168.1.11:3128
192.168.1.12:3128

5. **VERY IMPORTANT:** Try to use a proxy with a web browser, like Firefox or Chrome. This way you can verify if you are experiencing a software problem or if there is actually a problem with the proxies.
